On the afternoon of February 16th (the 29th day of the Lunar New Year, Year of the Horse), a delegation from the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, led by Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, visited, extended New Year greetings, and presented gifts to the people of Con Dao Special Zone.
Comrade Le Hoang Hai, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Con Dao Special Zone, along with leaders from several departments and agencies of Ho Chi Minh City, attended the event.

Accordingly, the delegation presented 100 Tet gifts to policy beneficiary families, poor households, near-poor households, and disadvantaged students in the Con Dao Special Zone.
Following the directives of the Central Committee and the City Party Committee on organizing the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, this year's Tet celebrations are being implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and political and social organizations in Ho Chi Minh City in a focused, substantive, and comprehensive manner, under the motto "Unity - Completeness - Compassion," with a total budget of over 5,900 billion VND.

The city-level "Spring of Solidarity - Tet of Compassion" program was organized with many practical contents, linked to the activities of political and social organizations, implemented in the spirit of bringing spring to every home, Tet to everyone, and ensuring that no one is left behind.
Along with the city level, the program was organized in 168 communes, wards, special zones, and even reached residential areas so that people could enjoy the spring festival and celebrate the Lunar New Year.

Through the Tet gift-giving program, we aim to promote the tradition of solidarity and mutual support of the nation; to care for the material and spiritual lives of the people, especially policy beneficiary families and families in difficult circumstances.
These activities also aim to create a joyful, enthusiastic, and warm atmosphere in the community during the Lunar New Year, contributing to building a united, prosperous, and happy residential area.
