According to reports, Phuc Loc commune was the most severely affected area. Strong winds caused damage to the roofs and outbuildings of more than 120 households, with nearly 2,500 roofing sheets destroyed; over 36 hectares of acacia plantations and nearly 29 hectares of corn crops were flattened. The total estimated damage is approximately 2.7 billion VND.

The communes of Cho Ra and Nghien Loan also recorded significant damage to crops, with estimated losses of around 200 million VND.
Recalling the moment the tornado swept through, Mr. Phung Van Khe, head of Khuoi Luoi village, Phuc Loc commune, is still in shock. Mr. Phung Van Khe recounted: "That night, strong gusts of wind howled through the forests behind our houses, trees fell, and the crashing sounds echoed loudly in the night. Of the 48 households in the village, 15 had their roofs blown off. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but the villagers' property was severely damaged."
Immediately after the natural disaster occurred, following the "four on-the-spot" principle, the local authorities mobilized forces to go to each household to help clean up, collect materials, reinforce house frames, and re-roof.
Images of soldiers, youth union members, and young people braving the rain and wind, passing sheets of corrugated iron and wooden planks from hand to hand to rebuild homes for the people have become familiar in the past few days, contributing to helping affected households stabilize their lives as soon as possible.
