Báo Hải Phòng•16/01/2026
For the winter crop season of 2025-2026, the entire city will plant approximately 2,300 hectares of early onions, concentrated in the communes of An Phu, Tran Phu, Hop Tien, etc.
Although the early part of the season was affected by storms that disrupted planting progress, favorable weather conditions during the cultivation phase resulted in good onion growth and development, minimal pest and disease problems, and high yields. This year's early onion yield is estimated at 6-7 quintals/acre, which is 0.5-1 quintal/acre higher than the same period last year.
