People's Artist My Uyen shared that, on the first day of the new year, audiences will enjoy a family musical play for the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2024 titled " The World of Toys and the Story of the Little Dragon Boy" by author Vuong Huyen Co, directed by Minh Quoc.

This promises to be a colorful performance, conveying a positive and humane message to parents and young audiences.

The first performance will premiere on the evening of January 11th. The play features the participation of artists such as People's Artist My Uyen, Meritorious Artist Vo Minh Lam, artist Tuyen Map, Nguyen Hong Dao, Minh Thao, Tran Tuan Kiet, Ky Thien Canh, Khanh Dang, Quoc Cuong, Thu Cuc, child actor Quoc Vu, Gia Han, Cao Anh Kim, Thien Kim...

Young audiences enthusiastically responded to children's plays at the Ho Chi Minh City Small Stage Theatre.

The story is about a little girl named Mai who lives in material comfort but rarely interacts with her mother, leaving her feeling lonely. Mai has many toys but abuses and torments them to vent her anger.

One day, Mai was suddenly transported to the world of toys. Through a joyful encounter with a little dragon in that magical world, Mai realized her mistakes and was able to return to the real world.

People's Artist My Uyen

This is the fifth children's-themed play written by author Vuong Huyen Co and staged by the Ho Chi Minh City Small Stage Theatre.

She stated that it is a noble mission she has always strived for: to create more opportunities for children to play with educational theatrical stories, while also providing a vibrant entertainment world appropriate for their age.
