Earlier, on September 19th, the Chau Duc District Inspectorate issued a decision to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the school, following a dialogue between the district chairman and the teaching staff to listen to their concerns and feelings.

During the dialogue, many teachers broke down in tears when talking about the meager 30,000 VND meal allowance they had to endure for a long time.

According to the inspection report, a series of shortcomings and deficiencies exist in the school's operations, such as: the implementation of democratic regulations, the content of income increase, the implementation of labor contracts, and financial transparency... all of which are still lacking.

Following this, the Chief Inspector of Chau Duc District recommended that the Principal of Anh Duong Kindergarten address the shortcomings and deficiencies completely; including implementing recommendations regarding the organization of lunch for staff and workers, and the provision of boarding facilities.

Specifically, the school publicly disclosed and refunded over 18 million VND to teachers and employees who had paid for lunch from September 2023 to May 2024; publicly disclosed and refunded over 5 million VND to teachers and employees who had paid for lunch during the summer of 2024; recovered the amount of money the school paid for overtime work to a teacher during their studies; and processed the refund of the remaining amount from the summer of 2024 (over 25 million VND) in accordance with regulations.

The Chau Duc District Inspectorate also recommended that the District Chairman take disciplinary action against Ms. Phan Thi Han Hue, in her role as Principal of Anh Duong Kindergarten, and other individuals involved in the shortcomings and deficiencies as concluded by the District Chief Inspector.

In a related development, prior to the conclusion of the inspection, in mid-October, Ms. Phan Thi Han Hue, Principal of Anh Duong Kindergarten, submitted a resignation letter to the Chau Duc District People's Committee.

Besides citing health reasons and the need for continued medical treatment, Ms. Hue also admitted to shortcomings in management and leadership that caused internal disunity, and a failure to provide timely guidance on the transparency of company activities.

Speaking with a VietNamNet reporter , a leader of the Chau Duc District Department of Education and Training confirmed that Ms. Hue had submitted a resignation letter to the district leadership, but it has not yet been considered because disciplinary action will be taken after the inspection concludes. Only then will the authorities consider her resignation according to regulations.
