Vietnamese youth possess youthful energy, capabilities, perseverance, and dedication. All these factors contribute to the role and responsibilities of youth in this new era, especially in contributing to the country's industrialization and modernization process. Youth offer significant potential for participation and commitment to the common cause and ideals of national development.

Bearing in mind President Ho Chi Minh's teachings, generations of Vietnamese youth have always upheld the spirit of initiative, especially by volunteering to work in mountainous, border, and particularly disadvantaged areas. Along with that, they have always been at the forefront in all actions to protect and build the Fatherland.

With the photo album "Wherever there is a need, the youth are there ," author Nguyen Van Tuan submitted to the Happy Vietnam Photo and Video Contest, organized by the Department of External Information, Ministry of Information and Communications , images of the proactive and volunteer spirit of today's Vietnamese youth.

The photo contest on the Vietnam.vn website is open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and above, aiming to honor individuals and groups with positive informational products that make practical contributions to promoting a beautiful image of Vietnam to the world. It also helps people in Vietnam, overseas Vietnamese, and international friends access authentic images of Vietnam, its people, and its achievements in ensuring human rights, moving towards a happy Vietnam through the authentic, vivid, and objective perspectives of professional and amateur photographers from Vietnam and abroad.
