A population of mountain devils has appeared in Lam Dong province.

Nestled in a valley amidst the majestic mountains and forests of Lac Duong, the Pi Ni Ghost Mountain - Ghost Stream Tourist Complex boasts a spacious natural landscape and the enchanting beauty of "benevolent ghosts," making it a popular tourist destination in Da Lat and Lac Duong.

The Pi Ni Ghost Mountain - Ghost Stream Tourist Complex, modeled after the shape of "benevolent ghosts," was a popular destination for tourists during the recent Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon.

From Da Lat city, following the Ankroet road with its lush green pine forests for about 20 km, the Pi Ni Quy Nui - Suoi Ma Tourist Complex, located in Suoi Can, Da Nghit village, Lat commune, Lac Duong district, emerges amidst the deep mountains and forests. This place is modeled after the "benevolent demons" from folklore, recreating ancient stories of the ethnic minority people in the mountainous region, associated with forests, rivers, streams, tigers, wolves, demons, and gods in their ancient beliefs.

Following tour guide Huynh Le Phuong Thu, visitors begin their experience at the Mountain Demon area. Stepping onto the giant tongue to enter the demon's mouth, visitors can watch and listen to fascinating stories about the legend of the benevolent demon saving people.

After hearing the folk legend about the Mountain Demon, visitors emerge from the demon's mouth and immerse themselves in the vast, fresh, and green space of the mountains, forests, and vegetation. Throughout the journey, unique and vivid images of demons are present, but instead of evoking fear, they spark curiosity and delight in visitors.

“The Devil Mountain area boasts 116 species of freshwater aquatic life, over 19,000 trees transplanted from all over the country, and more than 18 million stream stones… In addition, the mystical white mist, the babbling streams, and the cold-water fish pond with countless types of fish such as alligator gar, albino fish, koi, and especially the sacred fish brought from the Sacred Fish Stream in Thanh Hoa, have created a lush, green, and refreshing natural landscape that is very natural, poetic, and romantic, like a beautiful landscape painting,” Phuong Thu said.

That's also the reason why the young tour guide from Da Lat, after graduating from university, chose the Pi Ni Quy Nui - Suoi Ma Tourist Complex as her workplace from the moment it opened.

During their exploration of the natural landscape of Mount Devil, visitors are delighted to meet a man with a magnetic ability to attract anything made of iron and eat burning charcoal, or an old fortune teller offering lucky divination, or to enjoy the vibrant Central Highlands dances… Winding through lush green paths, visitors can learn about the culture of the indigenous people through exhibitions of handicrafts, brocade fabrics, and ancient jars from the past.

After exploring the Ghost Mountain area, tour guide Huynh Le Phuong Thu continued to lead visitors to the Ghost Stream area, where water trickles through the rocky crevices. Here, there are many gigantic things such as a giant zither displayed right by the water's edge, a giant T'rưng instrument, a giant birdcage, etc.

Besides enjoying the refreshing natural scenery, visitors can experience outdoor activities such as challenging themselves to cross a suspension bridge made of wooden planks with 5 progressively increasing difficulty levels, kayaking to admire the koi fish swimming around... In addition, this area will host 2-3 performances of traditional martial arts by masters from Binh Dinh and Ninh Thuan provinces each day.

Besides the Ghost Mountain and Ghost Stream areas, there is also Gemstone Island with over 3 million gemstones of hundreds of varieties, along with tens of thousands of tons of rare gemstones with an average Bovis index of 10,000 Bovis or higher, such as diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and quartz.

Visitors can try another experience: digging for rare gemstones themselves through the "red gemstone digging" service, or experiencing meditation on rocks…

Most recently, at the 53rd Vietnam Record Holders' Reunion and the 20th anniversary of the Vietnam Record Organization (2004 - 2024), the Asian Record Organization awarded the Pi Ni Tourist Complex a certificate recognizing it as the largest Asian record in Asia for its structures and projects inspired by the folk tales of the indigenous people of the Central Highlands, themed around the "Benevolent Demon".
