Onana's mistake led to Man Utd's defeat against Nottingham Forest.

A few days after their defeat to Arsenal, Man Utd suffered their second loss under manager Ruben Amorim. This time, they were defeated at home at Old Trafford against Nottingham Forest – a team that had suffered heavy defeats in three of their previous four matches.

Man Utd's disappointing match began with a goal conceded in the 2nd minute. The Old Trafford side once again showed weakness in defending corners. Nikola Milenkovic headed the ball into the net, giving Nottingham Forest the lead.

Man Utd controlled possession for over 70% in the first half. They created numerous dangerous opportunities from attacks down the flanks. Rasmus Hojlund equalized for the home team in the 18th minute after an effective central midfield combination.

In the second half, Man Utd still dominated. However, the weakness of their defense put the "Red Devils" at a disadvantage. Nottingham Forest took the lead for the second time in the 47th minute.

The visiting player shot straight towards the goal, but Andre Onana – Manchester United's best-performing player so far this season – misjudged the ball. Nottingham Forest's chance came from a careless pass in their own half by Bruno Fernandes.

Shortly afterwards, Man Utd conceded another goal from a high ball. Chris Wood headed the ball very weakly, but goalkeeper Onana and two Man Utd defenders fumbled, allowing the ball to roll through and into the net.

Fernandes rekindled hope for the home team with a goal to reduce the deficit in the 60th minute. However, Man Utd were unable to score another goal in the remainder of the match. Nottingham Forest won 3-2.
