Specifically, a report by Inside Edition discovered that the sneakers Biden wore last month were Hoka Transport shoes. These shoes are described as "commuter-friendly," with a design that makes it easy to tie the laces.

The black shoes, priced at $150, immediately drew attention, amid questions from observers about President Biden's choice of attire for public appearances.

A CBS News reporter later went to a Hoka store to try on the shoes and commented that they were "quite comfortable."

Given the above information, there is growing speculation that Biden's aides are taking precautions to prevent him from stumbling while traveling.

Andrew Bates, the White House Deputy Press Secretary, dismissed the reports, saying that Biden wore the shoes for exercise.
