On the evening of November 14th, the Ministry of Industry and Trade inaugurated "Vietnam Online Shopping Day – Online Friday 2025," kicking off the E-commerce Week with the message "Safe – Secure – Happy."
The event is not only the biggest shopping festival of the year but also aims to build a transparent digital consumer environment and promote the development of the digital economy .

According to Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang, the biggest obstacle to online shopping is concern about product quality, the risk of counterfeit goods, and intellectual property infringement.
Therefore, through the E-commerce Week and Online Friday 2025 event, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is working alongside e-commerce platforms, sellers, and consumers to build a transparent and enriching e-commerce environment, foster trust, and protect consumer rights.

The highlight of this year's program is the Mega Livestream series "Safety - Peace of Mind - Joy," organized for the first time on a large scale. The organizers will directly demonstrate and guide participants on how to distinguish genuine from counterfeit goods, and how to shop smartly and safely on digital platforms.
Online Friday 2025 will focus on four key activities. First, a series of e-commerce and digital technology experiences will be implemented, featuring technology spaces, exhibition areas – livestreaming of e-commerce platforms and multi-channel networks (MCN), helping consumers access new digital solutions, secure payments, and transparent product information.
The event also supports businesses in digital transformation through technology solution exhibitions, connecting sellers with e-commerce platforms, MCNs, KOLs, and digital partners, creating an effective promotional channel for OCOP products, regional specialties, and high-tech goods.

This year's program has seen widespread participation from digital platforms and businesses.
Through the collaboration between regulatory agencies, businesses, and digital platforms, Online Friday 2025 continues to affirm its role in promoting domestic consumption, advertising Vietnamese products, and creating a safe and civilized digital shopping environment.
