In keeping with the tradition of remembering one's roots and repaying kindness, the younger generation has joined forces to build the "Historical Stream" software, an application aimed at searching and connecting information nationwide to support the work of locating relatives and gathering the remains of fallen soldiers.

Throughout the wars of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland, approximately 1.2 million of our country's most outstanding sons and daughters have fallen. According to the National Steering Committee for the Search, Collection, and Identification of the Remains of Martyrs, many cases still lack or have completely missing information for the search. To contribute to the search and collection of the remains of martyrs to bring them back to their families, the Vietnam-ASEAN Institute for Entrepreneurship Development, the Center for Traditional and Historical Education , and the Idea-Startup technology ecosystem have developed the "History Stream" software – an application for searching and connecting information about relatives and graves of martyrs.

After years of manually searching for teammates, this process will now be greatly assisted by advances in science and technology.

Mr. Le Xuan Niem, Director of the Center for Traditional and Historical Education of Vietnam, shared: “ For a long time, we have been searching for the graves of fallen soldiers to inform local authorities and families, helping to alleviate the pain of war . During that process , due to the underdeveloped state of science, we only used manual methods, meaning we would go to cemeteries , check the names of fallen soldiers on each grave to find all the necessary information, compile a list , bind it into a book, and then share the information with the families .” Currently, with the application of scientific and technological advancements, we are assisting in the search and reporting of fallen soldiers' graves.   To alleviate the pain and consequences of war, Mr. Niem found it incredibly meaningful. For him personally, this activity helped millions of families who had not yet been able to welcome their loved ones home after the war to find renewed hope. For the implementing team, understanding the difficulties, hardships, worries, and aspirations of the relatives of fallen heroes and martyrs, they developed this application. This is not just a technical application but also a project with profound humanitarian value. The application of modern technology and scientific methods in the process of searching for and verifying the relatives of fallen heroes and martyrs has yielded encouraging results, helping many families find their loved ones, share the pain of loss, and spread messages of love. According to Mr. Le Trung Hieu, founder of the Idea & Startup Creative Eco System platform, many cases of fallen soldiers' remains with clear information have been brought back to their families by comrades or search groups over the years. However, there are also fallen soldiers whose information is unclear, making it impossible to find their relatives. Or there are fallen soldiers whose information is complete but whose families cannot be identified. Therefore, the application's connection will help each individual contribute information, whether accurate or close to accurate, for the system to process and match, then transfer to the family and relevant authorities. Mr. Hieu shared: "The 'History Flow' is a product that digitizes contributed data, helping relatives access and search for information, connecting with state agencies and local authorities that manage data. This can help relatives find the necessary information in the shortest possible time." The historical search for relatives and the graves of fallen soldiers is not just a technological application, but also a symbol of gratitude and national unity, contributing to building and strengthening pride in the country's glorious past. Above all, this activity will also promote historical values ​​and educate patriotism in the younger generation.
