Police discovered throwing away drugs to destroy evidence

According to initial information, at around 1:30 a.m. on March 30, Hoa Binh Commune Police organized a patrol to ensure security and order in the area. When arriving at Group 27 (An Thuan Hamlet), they discovered Tuan driving a motorbike with license plate 50HC-1283 from An Hoa ferry, carrying Tri on Provincial Road 946, showing signs of suspected illegal activity, so the working group signaled to stop the vehicle for inspection.

When the vehicle was stopped for inspection, the subject Tri quickly threw the pack of cigarettes he was holding onto the road. Suspicious, the Commune Police collected the evidence for inspection and discovered 3 cigarettes in the pack of cigarettes; 3 nylon bags inside contained white crystals suspected to be drugs. At the same time, a quick inspection of the subject Tuan discovered a gun inside the leg of the jeans he was wearing, suspected to be a military gun. Accordingly, the Commune Police made a record of the arrest of the offender in the act; seized and sealed the evidence; and escorted the 2 subjects to the headquarters for questioning.

Through quick investigation, Tri admitted that the white crystals contained in the three nylon bags were drugs that Tuan had given him to hold. Tuan did not admit that the drugs were his, but only admitted that he bought the gun online for self-defense purposes.
