Comrades: Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security ; Dr. Hoang Trung Dung, Party Central Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine; Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam, Director - Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House Truth, chaired the conference.
The conference was held in both direct and online formats to the Police of provinces and cities. At Binh Thuan Police, there was the participation of Colonel Tran Van Muoi, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police and representatives of professional units.
At the beginning of the workshop, delegates listened to the announcement of the letter sent by General Secretary To Lam to the workshop. General Secretary To Lam highly appreciated the Central Public Security Party Committee's coordination with units to organize the National Scientific Workshop, affirming that this is a very important and meaningful activity, in line with the requirements and tasks of building the Public Security force in the new situation.
In the letter, General Secretary To Lam emphasized: Our country is entering a new period, an era of national growth with many advantages and new opportunities, but also facing many difficulties and challenges. The task of protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety is becoming increasingly important and heavy.
To fulfill the assigned mission, the People's Public Security Force needs to be built comprehensively, deeply, and strongly in terms of politics, ideology; organization, personnel, logistics, and techniques. In which, the revolutionary ethical standards of the People's Public Security officers and soldiers are extremely important to build a People's Public Security Force that is strong in politics and ideology.
At the workshop, delegates and scientists affirmed that over the past 80 years, under the leadership of the Party and the State, the police force has continuously developed and matured, reaping many outstanding achievements in the work of protecting national security and social order, while always being exemplary in implementing revolutionary ethical standards and protecting the socialist foundation. These achievements have clearly demonstrated the pioneering role of the police force in building and protecting the country.
At the workshop, the opinions expressed that the People's Public Security Forces need to be built comprehensively, deeply, and strongly in terms of politics, ideology, organization, personnel, logistics, and techniques. In particular, the revolutionary ethical standards of the People's Public Security officers and soldiers are extremely important to build a People's Public Security Force that is strong in politics and ideology.
With careful preparation, the participation of many scientists and a large number of officers and soldiers in the force, the workshop provided more scientific arguments, deepened the theoretical and practical values, and supplemented and perfected the revolutionary ethical standards of officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security Forces in the new period. The success of the workshop will contribute significantly to the organization of the implementation of Regulation No. 144 - QD/TW of the Politburo on standards and revolutionary ethics of officers and Party members in the new period and Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW of the Politburo on promoting the building of a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern People's Public Security Force, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation...
