Since Duyen Hai district was established with Duyen Hai town (in 2018), Ngu Lac has become the administrative center of the district. According to Mr. Le Minh Tam, before the implementation of SME development (in 2012), people's life was still difficult, poor households accounted for 36,5%; average income 14,9 million VND/person/year; transport infrastructure, irrigation... degraded; limited economic potential. From 2021 up to now, the commune continues to uphold the criteria and improve the quality of the criteria, focusing on mobilizing resources, mobilizing the people to actively participate in advanced rural construction. Up to now, the face of the countryside has prospered, the transport system has been invested, in which, many works to serve the people; comprehensive socio-economic development.
The potential and strengths of Ngu Lac include a number of key projects of the district, located in the area, the commune will benefit: Administrative Center, Route 5, leading to Dinh An Economic Zone; embankment (phase 2) is more than 03km long, potential for calling for investment of the district; Stadium, market, district bus station are in the completion stage... Especially, implementing Decision No. 2368/QD-UBND, dated December 13, 12 of the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of the Agricultural Sector Restructuring Project In the direction of increasing added value and sustainable development, Ngu Lac has achieved many important achievements, in a positive and sustainable direction. It is thanks to the improvement of people's living standards, so the roadmap for rural construction has been improved. Ngu Lac has brought into full play its internal resources and potentials and strengths. After more than 10 years of rural construction, Ngu Lac has 415 households that donated nearly 07ha of land, pouring 412m .3 rural road, people contributed over 1,2 billion dong; mobilizing resources for rural construction increased more than 493,789 billion dong; in which, in the period 2012 - 2020 more than 289,703 billion VND; the period from 2021 to now 204,086 billion VND… People's awareness and responsibility in smart construction is increasing, in the implementation of traffic works, people always agree, respond and make important contributions.
After being recognized as a new rural area, Ngu Lac was supported by the province and district, and invested in 16 more important traffic works: in 2021, 07 routes will be invested, in 2022, 05 routes will be invested, in 2023 04 routes will be invested, total capital 32,6 billion VND. Up to now, the whole commune has 03 roads, 13,1km long, 100% asphalted, 6,5m wide road surface, 04m asphalt surface (Route No. 2, Provincial Road 914; Huong Highway 21). At the same time, the commune has 15 commune roads, 28,9km long, which have been asphalted and concreted 100%; There are 17 lane roads, 11,3km long, asphalted, 10,25/11,3km concrete. The main road in the field currently has 14 routes, 23,4 km long, 18,1/23,4 km long, solidified ... This is an important premise for Ngu Lac to promote its strength, promote comprehensive economic development and promote economic growth. lasting.
Talking about the quality of the people's living environment, Mr. Le Minh Tam said that despite the difficulties, the Party Committee and the Commune People's Committee have made the best efforts to take care of the people. Currently, Ngu Lac has 02 centralized water supply stations, with 3.728/4538 households using clean water according to regulations, accounting for 82,15%; 100% of households use hygienic water. In 2022, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in collaboration with the Netherlands Development Organization (SNV), supported the construction of the expanded pipeline in Ngu Lac commune, helping 492 households benefit.
In Ro Say hamlet, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huong, is one of 492 households supported to install clean water pipes for use by 2022. Ms. Huong is excited, previously some households here used host water. weak groundwater resources. From the end of 2022, families are supported with free clean water, very happy, convenient for daily life, especially health.
According to Mr. Phan Minh Tien, District Member, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ngu Lac Commune, although some criteria have not been met, the commune has developed a capital plan and implementation time.
