Recently, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the 2025 Ninh Thuan Province Open Cycling Race - Trungnam Group Cup. The event was held within the framework of the 2025 Ninh Thuan Province Culture, Sports, Tourism and Culinary Week, coinciding with the April 30th and May 1st holidays, thus attracting a large number of tourists and spectators.
The race is not only a playground for sports enthusiasts but also a community-building event that promotes the development of the local tourism industry. Thanks to these sporting events, many tourism services such as accommodation, food, and transportation in the province also increase, contributing to the growth of the province's tourism economy . According to statistics, during the holiday period alone, the province welcomed more than 215,000 visitors, with estimated tourism revenue reaching 320 billion VND.
In Ninh Hai, the traditional Dam Nai Dragon Boat Race is an annual event that is not only a sporting event but also deeply rooted in the local traditional cultural values. Aimed at fostering a passion for sports within the community and providing opportunities for locals and tourists to experience exciting water activities, the dragon boat race embodies the unique cultural identity of the local fishermen and contributes to enriching tourism in the province.
