In the province's economic zones and industrial parks, 348 projects have become operational, playing a core role in the province's industrial development. Among them, the Dung Quat Economic Zone is a national-scale growth hub for heavy industry, energy, and petrochemicals, with the Dung Quat Oil Refinery and the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Complex as its core. Industrial parks such as VSIP Quang Ngai, Tinh Phong, Quang Phu, Pho Phong, Hoa Binh, Sao Mai, etc., attract manufacturing businesses and create jobs on a large scale. To optimize the value chain, the province focuses on developing a synchronized and modern logistics system. The open space, deep-water seaport, and international border gates provide favorable conditions for Quang Ngai to develop port-border transport routes and logistics services.
The synergy between industrial advantages, seaports, border gates, and multimodal connectivity between road and sea routes facilitates businesses in developing production, organizing transportation, import and export activities, and enhancing competitiveness.
Among the projects seeking investment by the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks is the Dung Quat Economic Zone Logistics and Supply Chain Service Center project in Binh Son commune, covering approximately 38 hectares. This logistics center is expected to create a supply chain, enhance competitiveness, and improve the efficiency of infrastructure utilization in the Dung Quat Economic Zone.
