The film is directed by Vu Ngoc Dang, who has achieved success with many films on social themes, and this is his first attempt at the historical and revolutionary war genre. The screenplay was written by screenwriter Chau Tho, inspired by the heroic deeds of the Rung Sac Special Forces (10th Special Forces Unit). This is a legendary fighting force, associated with the "ghostly" combat tactics in the mangrove forests of Can Gio.

The film features artists such as Quách Ngọc Ngoan, Sỹ Toàn, Lê Minh Thuấn… and several other unannounced main actors. Notably, the trio of actors who contributed to the success of the film "Red Rain" – Đỗ Nhật Hoàng, Steven Nguyễn, and Đình Khang – will be joining the cast.
