On the afternoon of October 18th, Comrade Lai The Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, visited and congratulated the Provincial Women's Union on the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2024).
Comrade Lai The Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, along with other provincial leaders, presented flowers to congratulate the Provincial Women's Union on the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2024).
Also participating were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department and Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Dao Xuan Yen, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Nguyen Van Hung, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department; Nguyen Quang Hai, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Dau Thanh Tung, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and representatives from provincial departments and agencies.
On behalf of the provincial leadership, Comrade Lai The Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, extended best wishes to all female cadres and members in the province. He also acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts, dedication, and achievements of the women's associations at all levels and their members throughout the province in the past period, especially during the first nine months of 2024.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized: As the homeland of the heroic Lady Trieu, in recent years, the Provincial Women's Union and its branches at all levels, along with its female members, have always strived and become one of the leading organizations in the country in terms of their movements. In particular, the various levels of the Union have developed many effective models and approaches that have left a lasting impression and yielded positive results in practice, which have been recognized and highly appreciated by the Party committees and local authorities.

During the leadership and guidance process, the Women's Union at all levels in the province has grown stronger in all aspects, becoming more stable in management, operation, and organizational development. In particular, the Union at all levels has implemented many programs and movements contributing to the province's socio -economic development. Notable examples include programs and projects supporting women members in the province to develop their economy, achieve rapid and sustainable poverty reduction, promote gender equality, the "Thanh Hoa Women Joining Hands to Build New Rural Areas" movement, linked to the "Building Families with 5 No's and 3 Cleanliness Standards" campaign, and the "Godmother - Connecting Love" program launched by the Vietnam Women's Union Central Committee... These have proven effective and have had a profound and widespread impact on social life, highlighting the correct policies and guidelines of the Party and State.
Regarding future tasks, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that the Provincial Women's Union and women's associations at all levels in the province continue to uphold the fine traditions of Vietnamese women and the achievements already made, with the highest determination and effort to successfully implement the goals and tasks set forth by the 18th Thanh Hoa Provincial Women's Congress, term 2021-2026.
At the same time, we must do well in emulation movements, research more movements suitable to the specific characteristics of the locality, have many programs and activities directed towards the grassroots, and support members in all aspects; striving to always be the leading flag in the national women's movement. Women in each Women's Union organization from the provincial to the grassroots level must truly share, unite, love and support each other in work and life...
Furthermore, all levels of the Women's Union must closely adhere to the province's political tasks and actively participate in the movements launched by the province. This includes actively and effectively implementing Directive No. 22-CT/TU, dated March 30, 2024, of the Provincial Party Committee, and, with compassion, mobilizing female members to support the construction of housing for poor households, policy beneficiary households, and households facing housing difficulties in the province.
Women's associations at all levels in the province, especially those in coastal areas, must encourage their families and relatives to actively respond to the Provincial People's Committee's directive on complying with the law in the exploitation and harvesting of aquatic resources, striving to lift the "yellow card" imposed on Vietnam's fisheries sector by November 2024.
The Women's Union at all levels is actively and effectively implementing the Project to build "Drug-free communes, wards, towns, districts, and cities" in Thanh Hoa province, giai đoạn 2024-2025, in conjunction with the campaign "Building families with 5 no's and 3 clean's". In particular, the Women's Union at all levels is launching a widespread movement for all citizens to participate in preventing and combating drug-related crimes.
Continue to encourage grassroots members to further boost production, especially focusing on developing clean agriculture, green agriculture, and moving towards organic agriculture; actively implement the conversion of records and apply information technology in association work and women's movements.
Comrade Ngo Thi Hong Hao, Provincial Party Committee member and President of the Provincial Women's Union, delivered a speech expressing gratitude.
On behalf of the officials and members of the Provincial Women's Union, Ms. Ngo Thi Hong Hao, Provincial Party Committee member and President of the Provincial Women's Union, respectfully thanked the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; the provincial leaders; and the Party committees and authorities at all levels for their profound attention to the movement and activities of women's unions at all levels in the province. With the spirit of "Unity, creativity, aspiration for progress, integration, and development," the unions at all levels will continue to strongly and comprehensively innovate the content and methods of their activities, building increasingly strong organizations.
At the same time, focus on advising and proposing policy mechanisms related to the legitimate interests of women; encourage all strata of women to actively, proactively, dynamically, and creatively participate in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas, contributing to making Thanh Hoa a prosperous, beautiful, civilized, and modern province; a comprehensively developed and exemplary province of the whole country.
