On the morning of January 23rd, Comrade Trinh Tuan Sinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and inspected the implementation of tasks during the Lunar New Year holiday of the Year of the Snake 2025 at the Traffic Police Department, Mobile Police Department, and Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue Police Department (Provincial Police).

Also participating were representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department, the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Provincial Police, and Thanh Hoa City.

During the visits, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Tuan Sinh and the delegation listened to reports from the unit leaders on the implementation of tasks in 2024 and the work of ensuring security and order, traffic safety, and fire prevention and control before, during, and after the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake 2025.

Accordingly, the units have developed plans and deployed forces to ensure security and order, traffic safety, and fire safety before, during, and after the Lunar New Year; and are ready with personnel and equipment to respond to any situation and accident as directed by the Provincial Police.

During the period before, during, and after Tet (Lunar New Year), units organized 100% personnel on duty and standby, ready to perform tasks when required; prepared well for logistics to support combat duty; organized Tet celebrations for officers and soldiers in a safe and economical manner. They also organized visits to and provided support to families of officers and soldiers in the unit facing difficult circumstances, as well as families of wounded soldiers and martyrs.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Tuan Sinh commended the contributions of officers and soldiers from various units in ensuring security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and control, and rescue operations over the past period, serving the lives of the people and major events of the province.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Tuan Sinh also acknowledged the recommendations of the units and requested the Provincial Police to develop a plan to propose investment in equipment and facilities for units under the jurisdiction of Thanh Hoa province to meet the requirements of their tasks and in line with the province's development. He requested the units to actively improve their technical and tactical skills to master the modern equipment that has been provided; to control the situation, not to be caught off guard in any situation, especially during the upcoming Lunar New Year, ensuring sufficient personnel on duty ready for combat, ensuring security, order, social safety and fire prevention and control, and preventing any surprises in any situation so that the people can enjoy the spring and celebrate the New Year.

Specifically, units must develop plans to strengthen patrols, controls, and the fight against all types of crime in the province during the Lunar New Year holiday, especially drug-related crimes, firecrackers, public disorder, and illegal racing. At the same time, they must enhance security at important targets throughout the province. Furthermore, they must develop holiday duty plans and ensure the well-being, both material and spiritual, of officers and soldiers during the holiday period.
