For the education sector, digital transformation facilitates online teaching and learning for teachers, students, and parents, as well as checking their children's academic results."

The "Digital Literacy Movement" is a key component identified in Action Program No. 144-CTHĐ/TU dated February 24, 2025, of the Provincial Party Committee and Plan No. 47/KH-UBND dated March 4, 2025, of the Provincial People's Committee. The province focuses on making the "Digital Literacy Movement" a regular, continuous, and widespread movement throughout the province; a breakthrough in raising awareness and digital skills, especially for those in remote areas or those without access to technology. It aims to mobilize organizations, individuals, and citizens to actively participate in the "Digital Literacy Movement" to disseminate knowledge about artificial intelligence to all levels of society, all sectors, and all fields.
According to Tran Ngoc Lan, Director of the Department of Science and Technology and Standing Member of the Provincial Steering Committee on Science and Technology Development, Innovation, and Digital Transformation: The "Digital Literacy Movement" is a movement with profound significance in building a learning society and developing the digital knowledge base of the province in particular and the country in general. This movement serves as a bridge helping all levels of the population, from students, workers, farmers to officials and civil servants, to access digital technology and apply digital skills in their lives and work.
Digital transformation is not only a trend but also a crucial driving force for the comprehensive and sustainable development of Quang Tri. The "Digital Literacy Program for the People" is an important step in the journey of enhancing community knowledge, aiming towards a learning society in the digital age.
To ensure the "Digital Literacy Movement" achieves tangible results, at the launching ceremony, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong emphasized several key tasks for the entire province in the coming period: Strengthening propaganda and mobilization efforts to ensure all citizens clearly understand the role of digital transformation and are ready to participate in learning and applying technology in their lives.
Implement online classes and courses to disseminate digital knowledge on suitable and easily accessible platforms for all audiences. Mobilize the participation of the entire society, from government agencies and businesses to organizations and individuals, to support infrastructure, equipment, learning materials, and resources for the movement. Promote digital skills training programs for the people, especially vulnerable groups, the elderly, and self-employed workers, so that they can apply technology to their work and lives.
