This activity, spearheaded by the Phu Luong Ward Police, in coordination with the neighborhood committee and other relevant forces, aims to raise awareness and improve fire and explosion response skills among residents and local personnel.

The theoretical part of the session took place from 4:15 PM to 5:30 PM, led by Lieutenant Colonel Le Viet Hai, who introduced new legal documents on fire prevention and rescue, analyzed the causes and common risks of fires and explosions, and guided participants on escape skills and handling procedures in case of an incident. Lieutenant Colonel Le Viet Hai also took time to answer questions, helping people better understand their individual responsibilities in fire prevention at their homes and production and business establishments.
Specifically, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, a simulated fire drill was held at a household combining residential and commercial use. The scenario involved an electrical short circuit causing a fire on the first floor, with smoke and flames spreading rapidly, trapping elderly people and young children on the second floor. Local forces, including the Civil Defense Fire Department, local security guards, and residents, coordinated their efforts according to the "four on-the-spot" principle: detection, alarm, use of portable fire extinguishers to put out the fire, evacuation guidance, rescue of trapped individuals, and maintaining security and order in the area. Police officers from the ward and the Fire and Rescue Police Team No. 15 directly guided and demonstrated the procedures, after which residents practiced.

At the conclusion of the exercise, the leaders of the ward police highly appreciated the spirit and responsibility of the participating forces and citizens, and commended the collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.
