Women across the country enthusiastically went to the polls.

In keeping with the general atmosphere of nearly 79 million voters nationwide, from 7:00 AM on March 15th, officials, members, and women from all regions of the country enthusiastically participated in casting their votes for representatives to the 16th National Assembly and representatives to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

The election is a great festival for the entire nation, demonstrating the people's right to self-governance in building and perfecting the socialist rule of law state of Vietnam, of the people, by the people, and for the people. This is an opportunity for women nationwide to exercise their rights and civic duties; and at the same time, wisely choose outstanding representatives in terms of character, ability, and prestige, who truly represent the will and aspirations of the people in the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.

The ballot boxes were delivered to the homes of elderly people by officials from Quang Hoi Village, Noi Bai Commune, Hanoi, so they could fulfill their civic duty.

To welcome the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and representatives to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, female officials and members of the Women's Union in Tam Diep ward (Ninh Binh province) wore traditional ao dai (Vietnamese long dress) to cast their votes, creating a beautiful and dignified image at the polling stations. This activity contributed to spreading the elegant and responsible beauty of Ninh Binh women, while also demonstrating the positive spirit of the women's union members on this national election day.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy (far right), Head of the Women's Association of Quang Hoi village, Noi Bai commune, Hanoi, said that with the highest spirit, local officials, members, and women enthusiastically participated, encouraging each other to arrive early to prepare with the Organizing Committee and excitedly proceed with voting to choose worthy delegates to represent the voice of the people.

From a remote island, Major Pham Thu Hien, Head of the Women's Association of the Van Don Special Zone Police, Quang Ninh province, shared her honor in participating in ensuring security for the election. As a voter, Major Pham Thu Hien trusts and expects that the representatives entrusted by the people will uphold their responsibility to be close to the people, listen to the opinions of voters, and wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to the development of the country and the peace of the people.

Women from Thai Nguyen province, resplendent in their colorful traditional clothing, attended the National Festival.

Sharing her joy on election day, Ms. Vang Thi Song, from Huoi Lu 1 village, Na Hy commune, Dien Bien province, said: "Today, going to vote, I feel very excited and proud. At this age, every time I get to personally hold a ballot to choose representatives who reflect the will and aspirations of the people, I feel I am still contributing a small part to the common good of the country. The atmosphere of election day also makes me happy, confident, and hopeful. After casting my vote, I only hope that the representatives chosen by the people will truly be dedicated, responsible, close to the people, listen to the people, and do their best for the lives of the people. I also hope that the country will develop more and more, the people's lives will be more prosperous, society will be more just, so that our children and grandchildren can live in a better, more stable, and happier environment."

Ms. Pham Thi Thu went to vote early.

For Ms. Pham Thi Thu, from the Muong ethnic cooperative in Thuong Ninh commune, Thanh Hoa province, the election is a great festival for the entire nation.

As a member of the Women's Union, she demonstrated a sense of responsibility, actively participated in elections, fully exercised her rights and duties as a citizen, and selected outstanding representatives in terms of character, competence, and prestige, who truly represent the will and aspirations of the people in the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.

The election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and representatives to people's councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term is a major political event for the country, an opportunity for voters nationwide to exercise their right to self-governance and directly choose outstanding and worthy representatives to represent the will and aspirations of the people in state power organs.

Women in Hue City went to the polls early in the morning of March 15th.

Local authorities also focused on arranging polling locations that were convenient for voters, especially in mountainous areas, remote areas, border regions, and islands; and at the same time, developed flexible voting plans for certain special groups of voters such as the elderly, people with disabilities, people receiving treatment at medical facilities, or voters in detention centers.

The whole country is buzzing with excitement as it enters Election Day.
