Ms. Le Ngoc Thuy, Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union, stated: "We have determined that propaganda and mobilization work must be one step ahead, closely adhering to political tasks and the actual situation in the locality. At the same time, the comprehensive and synchronized implementation of various models and activities has contributed to raising awareness and fostering a proactive and responsible spirit among members in participating in resolving urgent issues in the community."
In the first six months of 2026, the various levels of the association organized over 3,300 propaganda sessions, thematic activities, and conferences at the grassroots level; maintaining and enhancing the effectiveness of 639 community communication groups. The combination of oral and online communication, focusing on local areas, created high levels of consensus and encouraged members to participate in patriotic emulation movements.
Through the "effective mass mobilization" movement, women's associations at all levels have built thousands of social welfare projects. A highlight is the intensive emulation campaign to build "Safe, Bright, Green, Clean, and Beautiful Self-Managed Road Sections" to celebrate major political events of the country and of the associations at all levels. Specifically, from the beginning of 2026 to the present, the Provincial Women's Union has completed 2 model projects worth over 200 million VND; grassroots associations have completed 33 projects and 46 tasks with a total value of over 500 million VND. In addition, associations at all levels continue to maintain and expand 166 environmental landscape models such as: "Green House," "Women's Association Branch with 3 Cleanliness Standards for Environmental Protection," etc.
For example, in Hoang Van Thu commune, the Women's Union implemented a model project titled "Safe - Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" in Ban Chang village. With a 100 million VND grant from the Provincial Women's Union, the commune's Women's Union mobilized community resources, organizing over 140 clean-up campaigns, clearing over 20 km of village roads and alleys, and planting over 2,500 new trees. To date, the project has been completed with many components such as: installing 20 solar-powered streetlights; constructing a 300-meter stretch of national flag with 45 flagpoles; painting 200 meters of artistic murals; and maintaining the operation of two "Green House" models...
Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Hoang Van Thu Commune, said: "When we first started the project, many sections of the road in Ban Chang village lacked lighting, and the drainage ditches were not hygienic. Recognizing the importance of mobilizing the community, from the beginning of the year until now, the union has organized more than 120 propaganda sessions in various forms such as oral presentations integrated into branch and club activities, training, conferences, and seminars; distributing leaflets; hanging banners and slogans; and through the electronic information portal, Facebook page, and Zalo…. Through these efforts, members and women understood the benefits of the project, and everyone wholeheartedly contributed their labor and available materials to complete the project."
The effectiveness of grassroots mobilization lies in fostering a spirit of self-awareness and changing mindsets and practices among each member and household. As someone directly involved in social welfare activities at the grassroots level, Ms. Hoang Thi Thai, a women's association member in Hop Tien village, Chi Lang commune, stated: "Thanks to the organization's awareness campaigns, women not only proactively change their daily habits and maintain hygiene in their own homes, but also voluntarily contribute labor to clean up, plant flowers, and paint murals in the village."
Effective implementation of mass mobilization work has made a significant contribution to beautifying the rural landscape; helping women continue to affirm their position and role in the process of building and developing the socio-economic sector in the area.
