On April 30th, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Loan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone, announced that the People's Committee of Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone ( An Giang province) officially launched a multilingual (100 languages) tourist support system via QR code today.
With the implementation of this system, Phu Quoc aims to eliminate language barriers and enable international visitors to access on-site services and support.
At the same time, this QR code allows tourists to quickly connect with the Island's Tourism Rapid Response Team in emergency situations or when they need assistance.
In addition, tourists can provide practical feedback to improve the quality of tourism services in Phu Quoc.

The People's Committee of Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone has requested relevant units to display QR codes at the airport, seaports, accommodation establishments, restaurants, tourist attractions, transportation units (boats, cars, canoes), and public places... so that tourists can easily see and conveniently use them when needed.
"Visitors can simply scan the QR code directly on their mobile phones without needing to install an app."
At the same time, GPS positioning allows local authorities to pinpoint the exact location of tourists in case of emergency rescue operations.
"Phu Quoc is therefore aiming for a transparent, courteous tourism environment, with tourists at the center of service," Ms. Loan said.
