At the Cultural House of Trung Hoa neighborhood, Cung Son town, Son Hoa district, the Provincial Women's Union in collaboration with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment organized the launch and training of the IMO site for classification and application of indigenous microorganisms to household organic waste treatment.

The model has 20 members who are members of the Women's Union participating in, classifying and treating garbage at households; communication to raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic waste on women; create positive changes in the action of collecting plastic waste, limiting the use of plastic bags, actively using environmentally friendly products.
After the launch ceremony, the reporters trained on how to classify garbage, use compost bins, produce biological cleaners, create IMO products and introduce some models of environmental protection. This is one of three pilot models of the Provincial Women's Union implemented in the province. In June, the Provincial Women's Union continued to launch the remaining 6 model sites in Son Hoi commune (Phu Hoa district) and La Hai town (Dong Xuan district).
This activity is part of the coordination plan between the Provincial Women's Union and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment on propaganda to raise public awareness on environmental protection, disaster response, and climate change in 2023. At the launching ceremony, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment. TN&MT donated 20 compost bins to the sisters participating in the model.
