Serve the Fatherland!

In three days (February 14), the 2025 military enlistment ceremony will officially take place in Thanh Hoa province. However, for the past few days, emotional messages such as "Goodbye Mom, I'm leaving", "Goodbye, see you on a bright day"... have appeared a lot on social networking sites.

Every year, after the full moon of the first lunar month, the military enlistment ceremony takes place, but the national festival sending off young men of military age to join the army never lacks emotion.

This year, Thanh Hoa province has 3,652 citizens assigned to military units and 487 citizens assigned to police units. The new recruits are eagerly waiting to be trained and contribute in the new environment.

Before the military handover ceremony, many meaningful activities were carried out by localities such as organizing party admission ceremonies for new recruits; visiting, encouraging, giving gifts; supporting families of new recruits in difficult circumstances...

Before the day of departure, the Party Committee, the government and the organizations have accompanied the new soldiers and after the day of enlistment, the rear will always be strong and accompany them, so that the soldiers can feel secure in their duties. The military rear policy always warms the hearts of soldiers and their relatives.

Previously, since August 2024, in Thanh Hoa, hundreds of handwritten applications for volunteering to join the army in 2025 were sent to the authorities by young people in many localities in the province.

“Youth on the training ground is the most beautiful time of life, with the most passion and dedication to the Fatherland”; “Joining the army is the only choice at this time”... These lines were carefully written by many young people in their application to join the army with the determination to continue the tradition of their family and homeland...

The petitions were written with the urge of the heart, bearing the shape of the Fatherland, which will forever vibrate like a flowing source, proving the seriousness, responsibility and willingness to sacrifice of the youth. The Fatherland needed them and they set out, without thinking or calculating. It was that simple. We are all proud of them.

There is a very good line in the song "Youthful Aspirations" that says: "Don't ask what the Fatherland has done for you, but ask what you have done for the Fatherland today."

Joining the army and the police units is to serve the Fatherland, to serve the People. And after leaving the army, in the backpack on the path of establishing a career, each young person will have many more things that they have accumulated in the military environment. They will be stronger and more resilient on the new front to continue serving the mission of enriching the country that the Fatherland requires.
