At the conference, delegates heard a presentation from Mr. Vo Thanh Tung, Vice Chairman of the Phu Thuong Ward People's Committee, on the overview of the Red River Landscape Boulevard Construction Project. Accordingly, the Red River Landscape Boulevard Project is identified as one of the nine driving forces for the development of the Capital, serving as a central green space axis, and also as an economic , commercial, service, creative cultural, and urban axis along both sides of the Red River.
The project is scheduled to be implemented from 2026 to 2038; with the 2026-2030 period prioritizing investment in key infrastructure projects such as the scenic boulevard along both sides of the river, embankment and riverbed/bank improvement projects, and the Phu Thuong Ward public park...
"The project's implementation not only contributes to the completion of the technical infrastructure system but also creates new momentum for urban beautification, improves the quality of life, and aims towards building a civilized, modern, and sustainably developed Hanoi, " emphasized the Vice Chairman of the Phu Thuong Ward People's Committee.
Regarding the progress of the Phu Thuong Public Park Project - a component project of the Red River Landscape Boulevard Construction Investment Project, Mr. Vo Thanh Tung said that the project is expected to complete land clearance in the second quarter of 2026. Currently, the local authorities are focusing on coordinating with relevant units to accelerate land clearance work, ensuring progress according to the city's plan.
According to Mr. Vo Thanh Tung, Phu Thuong ward currently lacks community spaces, public playgrounds, and green areas to serve the needs of its residents. Therefore, investing in the construction of Phu Thuong Public Park is of particular importance, not only contributing to the allocation of green space and improving the urban landscape, but also creating additional places for recreation, entertainment, and health training for people of all ages.
Speaking at the conference, Tran Quang Dao, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu Thuong Ward Party Committee, emphasized that the Red River Landscape Boulevard Construction Project is one of the important infrastructure projects for the development of the Capital City in general and Phu Thuong Ward in particular.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu Thuong Ward Party Committee requested that units and grassroots officials proactively grasp public opinion, promptly listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the people, and reflect legitimate opinions and suggestions to competent authorities for consideration and resolution according to regulations. Along with that, they should promote the role of core forces at the grassroots level in disseminating information and mobilizing the people to agree with the city's infrastructure development policies.
