In the 55th minute of the match at Parc des Princes, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia broke through on the left wing before delivering a perfect cross for Desire Doue to finish with a one-touch shot, giving the Angers goalkeeper no chance to save it.
Doue's 11th goal of the season secured the Ligue 1 title for PSG six rounds early. Currently, Luis Enrique's team is 24 points ahead of Monaco, who have only seven games in hand.
This is the second earliest championship win in Ligue 1 history. The record is currently held by PSG, who clinched the title eight rounds early in the 2015/16 season.
With the title in the 2024/25 season, PSG further solidified their position as the most successful team in the history of the top French league with 13 championships, 3 more than the second-placed team, Saint-Etienne.
