On the morning of June 5th, Tran Thanh Truong, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Ngai province, announced that the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province had issued Official Letter No. 3204/UBND-KGVX to the Ministry of Science and Technology regarding the publication of major problems in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation in Quang Ngai province.

Accordingly, the major challenges in science , technology, innovation, and digital transformation in Quang Ngai province comprise four main areas.

Specifically, the project aims to build a comprehensive construction management system in Quang Ngai province based on a digital platform, with the goal of achieving a complete digital transformation in smart, synchronized, and interconnected construction management throughout the province. It also seeks to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in construction activities within the province using a digital platform.

The goal is to build a comprehensive socio -economic database for the province, aiming for synchronization, uniformity, and the ability to integrate and share flexibly across sectors, levels, and between the local and central governments, serving as a foundation for the province's comprehensive digital transformation.

Establish a shared provincial-level data repository to support guidance, management, policy making, development forecasting, and data-driven social governance (data-driven government). Enhance the exploitation and sharing of data among government agencies, businesses, and citizens to improve operational efficiency, information transparency, and facilitate the development of the digital economy, digital government, and digital society.

Creating an open, transparent, and accessible data environment enables businesses and citizens to interact with and utilize information for production, business, learning, healthcare, and daily life.

Thanks to the application of science and technology, the model of raising whiteleg shrimp on sandy soil lined with tarpaulin in the coastal area of ​​Pho Vinh ward, Duc Pho town, has yielded high economic efficiency.

Establishing an Innovation Center to serve sustainable development in Quang Ngai province aims to promote digital transformation and smart industrial governance in the province. Transforming and developing ecological and circular industrial zones.

Applying science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation to develop green and sustainable agriculture aims to transform and develop a modern and sustainable agricultural sector based on the application of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation. This will form an agricultural production system based on value chains, creating added value and enhancing the competitiveness of agricultural products in Quang Ngai province.
