Specifically, Mr. Thanh Minh Thuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Vi commune, said: Earlier, at around 6:30 PM, the head of Ta Noat village reported that cracks had appeared on Wang Voi mountain, posing a risk of landslide and potentially endangering households at the foot of the mountain.
Immediately afterwards, the Ba Bi commune's Civil Defense Command directed the local task force to approach the scene and evacuate 23 households with 54 people from the landslide-prone area to temporarily relocate to sturdy houses in the village. According to the Ba Vi commune leaders, due to heavy rain and strong winds, the authorities have not yet been able to specifically inspect the extent of the cracks.
Currently, all households living in the affected area have been evacuated. After the storm subsides, Ba Vi commune will inspect the affected area.
