Currently, working hours at this pair of border gates are only from 7:19 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.

In 2023, more than 2 million tons of coal will be imported from Se Kong province (Laos) to Quang Tri through La Lay border gate. Every day, there are about 400 - 500 vehicles passing between the two border gates.
It is expected that by 2024, 11 million tons of coal will be exported by Laos through Quang Tri by road.
To create more favorable conditions for immigration, import and export activities, especially coal import and export activities, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province requested the Salavan Provincial Government Committee to agree to report to the Lao government on the matter.
