Launch of Tra Giang Cheo Singing Club

In order to contribute to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values ​​of Cheo art, on the morning of October 24, the People's Committee of Tra Giang commune organized the launching of the Tra Giang Cheo Singing Club.

The club was established with 42 members, the core force coming from the Cheo clubs of the three communes of Tra Giang, Quoc Tuan and Hong Thai before. The club has the task of organizing activities, practicing and performing in accordance with the functions and regulations of the State; at the same time, building a specific action plan, contributing to preserving and spreading the values ​​of traditional folk culture and arts, promoting the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" in residential areas.

After the launching ceremony, the Club will continue to collect, preserve and promote the art of Cheo, organize performance programs to serve political tasks and meet the people's cultural enjoyment needs. Along with that, the Club focuses on nurturing and recruiting talented young members, teaching traditional Cheo melodies, contributing to preserving and promoting the value of national art; at the same time, creating a useful playground for members to exchange, learn, practice and improve their skills in the field of mass art.
