Launching the Kien Hai Tourism Association

On the afternoon of December 3rd, at Lai Son Island (Kien Hai Special Economic Zone), the An Giang Provincial Tourism Association held a ceremony to launch the Kien Hai Tourism Branch Association.

Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Tourism Association, Nguyen Vu Khac Huy, presented the decision to establish the Kien Hai Tourism Branch Association.

The Kien Hai Tourism Association has 10 members, with an Executive Committee of 5 members. Ms. Vu Thi Diem Thuy has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Kien Hai Tourism Association for the term 2025-2030.

The Kien Hai Tourism Association is responsible for guiding, planning, and implementing tourism activities towards green growth for its member businesses, in accordance with the conditions and operational capabilities of each member.

At the same time, the focus is on developing distinctive tourism products, improving service quality, and aiming to build Kien Hai into an attractive island and coastal destination.

The Kien Hai Tourism Association presented a symbolic plaque promoting tourism at Dinh Ong Nam Hai, worth 40 million VND, to the Kien Hai Special Economic Zone.

The association collaborates with the government in managing and protecting tourism resources, ensuring sustainable development; training and improving the quality of human resources, and introducing more professional service standards into local tourism activities.

The association acts as a bridge to promote and build the tourism brand of Kien Hai, contributing to the development of tourism as one of the key economic sectors of the Kien Hai special economic zone.
