The Bac Giang International Logistics Center is planned on an area of 67 hectares. The project has a total investment of nearly 4,200 billion VND, including items such as: a multi-functional warehouse system, customs control warehouse, duty-free warehouse, e-commerce warehouse, automated warehouse… combined with a comprehensive logistics solution system, modern and efficient cross-chain hub models (one-stop e-commerce hub, agricultural product import and export center hub…).

The completion of the Bac Giang International Logistics Center is a significant event, opening up many new development opportunities and facilitating import and export activities and trade transactions for businesses in the province.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Viet Oanh emphasized that Bac Giang province has a strategic location in the Northeast region of Hanoi, serving as a bridge between key economic regions, situated on vital transportation routes such as the Hanoi-Lang Son expressway, the international railway, and close to major border gates and main seaports.
Over the past years, the province's socio-economic development has made remarkable progress, with an average economic growth rate of over 14% per year during the 2020-2024 period; the size of the economy has risen to 12th place nationwide, leading the Northern Midlands and Mountainous region. The transportation, urban, industrial, and social infrastructure systems have been invested in comprehensively and have proven highly effective.
However, the province's logistics service sector has not yet lived up to its potential, advantages, and level of socio-economic development; the logistics system remains fragmented, transportation costs are high, and delivery times are lengthy.
Recognizing this bottleneck, the province has focused on directing and promoting the development of the logistics system, incorporating it into the Bac Giang Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030. The Provincial Party Standing Committee issued a Resolution on the development of several key service sectors for the period 2024-2030, in which logistics is identified as one of the leading service sectors.
The Bac Giang International Logistics Center project is a strategically significant undertaking, affirming the province's strong determination to develop modern logistics infrastructure, promote trade, industry, and international integration.
The completed and launched project has put Bac Giang on the map of large-scale logistics centers with modern infrastructure in the Northern region; awakened Bac Giang's potential for developing the service sector, considered the "lifeblood" of the economy; opened up new growth drivers, enhanced competitiveness, and promoted socio-economic development.

To ensure the project achieves maximum efficiency, sustainable development, and lives up to its potential as a leading regional logistics center, contributing positively to the province's development in the future, the comrade requested that all levels, sectors, and the investor focus on effectively implementing several key aspects. The Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Construction, and the People's Committee of Bac Giang City should urgently support and guide the investor in resolving remaining issues related to land acquisition and transportation connections; ensuring the completion of the project in a comprehensive manner, with a smooth, safe, and efficient transportation system.
The provincial departments and agencies, along with the People's Committee of Bac Giang city, will continue to closely coordinate and support the investor during the project's operation, promptly addressing any issues arising related to technical infrastructure and security and order.
The comrade requested that Bac Giang International Logistics Co., Ltd. focus intensely and urgently invest in the remaining technical infrastructure and services to complete the entire project; build a modern operating model, and apply digital technology, artificial intelligence, and automation to the processes of warehousing, transportation, and supply chain management.
