According to comrade Ngo Van Su, Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Thinh commune, in recent days, the flood on Cau river has receded rapidly, combined with continuous rain in the area, posing a greater risk of landslides and slides in riverside areas with weak geological foundations.
Recognizing that the above landslide area is quite dangerous, threatening people's lives and property, Son Thinh commune has announced, propagated, and mobilized 6 households living near the landslide area to move their property and people to another temporary place.

On the same day, the commune mobilized 30 militiamen and 3 trucks to help transport assets for the people. By this evening (June 30), 4 households, namely Mr. Ngo Van Truong, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh and Mr. Tran Van Tam, had moved to the old Dai Thanh Commune People's Committee headquarters to temporarily stay. The remaining households are continuing to receive propaganda and mobilization from local authorities.

According to the forecast of the provincial Hydrometeorological Station, from the evening of June 30 to July 3, the water level on rivers in the province is likely to have a flood with an amplitude of 2 m - 6 m. The flood peak on Thuong River, Luc Nam River, Cau River is likely to be at alert level 1 to alert level 2, with the potential risk of causing landslides. Therefore, local authorities and people should raise their vigilance and be on guard against dangerous incidents. Particularly, Son Thinh Commune (from July 1, Son Thinh Commune will arrange with some other neighboring communes called Hop Thinh Commune) to send shock troops to coordinate with local police forces to propagate to households along the Cau River dike to regularly monitor weather forecasts, water levels on the river and landslide developments.
