Today, December 28th, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and other relevant departments and units to review the preparations for organizing the New Year's Eve countdown program – Countdown Quang Tri 2024. The New Year's Eve countdown program – Countdown Quang Tri 2024 – will take place on the evening of December 31, 2023, at the Provincial Cultural and Cinema Center, sponsored by TTC International Beer Joint Stock Company (Camel Beer). The program includes games with free Camel beer, interactive games from 6 PM to 9 PM; and from 9 PM to midnight, a grand and elaborate New Year's Eve music festival promising a spectacular and vibrant event, featuring famous singers and artists such as Ho Quang Hieu, Vinh Khuat, Gemma Nguyen, and more; followed by a New Year's Eve fireworks display.
At the meeting, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Minh Tuan reported on the overall preparations for the program. To date, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Camel Beer, the event organizers, and relevant departments, agencies, and Dong Ha City have basically completed the preparations to ensure the program will be successful and impressive.
Representatives from several relevant departments and units offered many heartfelt and responsible contributions to the program, such as: selecting songs that are impactful, attractive, lively, youthful, and create a cheerful and exciting atmosphere to attract viewers; ensuring security, order, and traffic safety; arranging medical staff and vehicles in appropriate locations; arranging convenient locations for journalists to work; and proactively handling environmental sanitation before, during, and after the program ends...
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam emphasized: The New Year's Eve countdown program – Countdown Quang Tri 2024 – is a cultural, artistic, and entertainment program serving the people; contributing to promoting tourism development; and promoting the image of the land and people of Quang Tri.
In recent days, the program has received much attention from all sectors of the population. Although it is the first time it has been organized, the province is determined to deliver a unique and impressive program in many aspects, and to lay the groundwork for organizing it annually.
In that spirit, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Camel Beer, the event organizers, and other departments and agencies, and Dong Ha City to continue to closely coordinate to review, revise, supplement, and perfect the program script to ensure high cultural, artistic, and entertainment value. In particular, attention should be paid to building a program with high cultural and artistic content; balancing the songs appropriately, ensuring they meet the requirements for content and musical quality to create a vibrant, exciting, and attractive cultural and artistic space that evokes many joyful and enthusiastic emotions for the people; and at the same time, ensuring good security, traffic safety, and medical services.
Regarding other related matters, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam requested that departments, localities, sponsoring units, and organizing units be proactive and flexible in organizing and implementing the program to ensure its success, meeting the cultural, artistic, and entertainment needs of all segments of the population, and adding joy and enthusiasm to enter the new year 2024 with new victories.
