Spanish giants Real Madrid have given the green light for former striker Raul Gonzalez to negotiate with Villarreal, potentially taking over as the club's head coach.

Raul is currently the coach of Real Madrid's reserve team, Castilla, and has a contract until June 2024. However, the Bernabeu club is willing to terminate his contract without compensation, in order to allow the legend to take on his first official coaching job.
