At Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC), the price of gold is listed at 94.7 million VND/ounce (buying price) and 97.7 million VND/ounce (selling price). Today's gold price decreased by 3.1 million VND/ounce in the buying price and 2.1 million VND/ounce in the selling price compared to the close of yesterday's trading session.
In contrast, DOJI Group listed the price of gold at 98.6 million VND/ounce (buying price) and 100.4 million VND/ounce (selling price). Today's gold price increased by 600,000 VND/ounce in the buying price and 900,000 VND/ounce in the selling price compared to the previous closing session.
The current gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau is 95.2 million VND/ounce for buying and 97.7 million VND/ounce for selling. Compared to the previous trading session, the gold price has decreased by 2.8 million VND/ounce for buying and 2.1 million VND/ounce for selling.
At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the buying price of SJC gold is 95 million VND/ounce and the selling price is 97.5 million VND/ounce. Thus, compared to the previous session, the price of gold increased by 300,000 VND/ounce in both directions.

According to Kitco, the spot price of gold in the world market at 4:00 AM Vietnam time today was $3,013.25 USD/ounce. Today's gold price is down 0.71% compared to yesterday. Converted using the USD exchange rate on the free market (25,882 VND/USD), the world gold price is approximately 94 million VND/ounce (excluding taxes and fees). Therefore, the price of SJC gold bars is currently 3.3 million VND/ounce higher than the international gold price.

Gold prices fell more than 1% due to a stronger US dollar and profit-taking, although geopolitical and economic uncertainty, along with the prospect of interest rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve, helped boost bullion prices for the third consecutive week.
Spot gold fell 1.4% to $3,001.03 an ounce at 10:17 a.m. Eastern time (1457 GMT). US gold futures fell 1.2% to $3,007.80. Gold bullion has risen 0.7% this week.
Gold, considered a safe investment during times of geopolitical and economic uncertainty, and often thriving in low-interest rate environments, has hit 16 record highs this year, reaching an all-time high of $3,057.21 an ounce on Thursday.
"The market is taking a short break. There's some profit-taking at these price levels and the dollar is also stronger today," said Marex analyst Edward Meir.
The US dollar (.DXY) rose 0.2%, reaching a two-week high and making gold bullion priced in the greenback more expensive for overseas buyers.
Peter Grant, vice president and senior metals strategist at Zaner Metals, said: "The ongoing safe-haven demand, based on both trade concerns and geopolitical risks, continues to be the main driver."
US President Donald Trump still intends to impose new reciprocal tariffs on April 2nd.
The Federal Reserve kept its benchmark interest rate unchanged on Wednesday, as widely expected, but indicated it would cut it twice more, by 0.25 percentage points each, before the end of the year.
Traders are pricing in 71 basis points of monetary easing from the Fed this year, with at least two rate cuts of 25 basis points each, and the July cut already fully priced in, LSEG data shows.
