A new experience for tourists.
Just before the New Year, Furama Resort Danang kicked off its year-end festive season with activities to attract guests, such as a Christmas tree lighting ceremony, a Christmas Eve celebration featuring Santa Claus, and a buffet party.
Ms. Doan Nguyen Thuy Quynh, Public Relations Specialist at Furama Resort Danang, said that as part of the New Year's Eve celebration in 2026, the resort will host the most spectacular Cabaret gala of the year; and will also collaborate with the Trung Vuong Theatre to organize a professional art performance at the ICP International Convention Center.
“Inspired by the Parisian Cabaret stages of the 1930s, the Red Velvet Cabaret Ball recreates the free-spirited, bold, and captivating atmosphere of a golden age. Cabaret here is not just a performance, but a language of light, music , and emotion – where every moment is cinematic. In this atmosphere, each guest feels like they are stepping into a stage where the boundary between audience and artist gradually blurs,” said Ms. Doan Nguyen Thuy Quynh.
As part of its Lunar New Year celebration program for the Year of the Horse 2026, Furama Resort Danang is organizing a traditional village-style Tet market over three days, featuring performances of traditional musical instruments, singing and dancing, and fireworks. "Through this series of activities, we hope to offer visitors a destination at the beginning of the year that is both fresh, modern, and rich in cultural identity, while also creating positive beginnings for the new year," Ms. Huong said.

According to Mr. Huynh Tan Phap, Executive Director of Toom Sara Cultural Village, in addition to the "Village Tet - Auspicious Tet" program, Toom Sara Cultural Village organizes many activities to celebrate the New Year for visitors, such as: On December 31st, the Forest Countdown program allows visitors to experience making banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes), playing Co Tu folk games, having a BBQ party; enjoying acoustic music, DJing, cloud hunting, planting seeds for the new year, and participating in the ritual of burning the number 9...
“On January 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, 2026, in addition to the activities mentioned above, the New Year's Welcome program will also include trekking through the forest, ziplining, and a fire-calling ceremony with the Co Tu village elder… This is a moment when the old year recedes to make way for the new year, amidst music and firelight, and complete presence, to let go of the past and start anew more lightly, peacefully, and happily,” Mr. Huynh Tan Phap shared.
