Dozens of fishermen then brought the turtle ashore, embalmed it, covered it with red cloth, beat drums and gongs, and held a traditional burial at the Ba Vang Temple Cemetery.

Mui Ne fishermen brought the turtle ashore and buried it according to local customs.

It is known that according to local custom, when a whale or large sea turtle washes ashore, it will be solemnly buried by fishermen.
