- In the days leading up to the Lunar New Year of the Horse (Bính Ngọ), many streets in Lang Son province become vibrant with color. Particularly noteworthy is the elaborately decorated spring flower street, creating a fresh and lively atmosphere for the city. The space, filled with the colors and scents of spring, beautifies the landscape and attracts locals and tourists to visit, take photos, and capture memorable moments at the beginning of the year.
The "Spring Flower Street of Lang Son 2026" in Chi Lang Park, Luong Van Tri Ward, officially opens to the public and tourists for spring visits from February 7th to March 16th, 2026 (corresponding to the 20th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Snake to the 28th day of the 1st lunar month of the Year of the Horse 2026). The flower street is designed as a spring symphony, where the colors of peach blossoms, light, and miniature landscapes blend together, creating an emotionally rich experience. Along its 700-meter length, 3 decorative clusters and 14 miniature landscapes recreate the story of the land and people of Lang Son. The miniature landscapes, featuring the image of the horse, the mascot of the Year of the Horse (Bính Ngọ), appear throughout the decorated space, expressing a forward-moving spirit, perseverance, and aspiration for progress. Children are captured in beautiful moments by their relatives alongside the spring flower-lined streets. The flowers along the spring flower street are regularly trimmed, watered, and cared for by workers, ensuring they always look fresh and beautiful. The miniature landscapes featuring New Year's greetings are prominently displayed, conveying messages of peace and good fortune to locals and tourists. People take commemorative photos next to the decorative displays of the spring flower street. In anticipation of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, the People's Committee of Lang Son province is installing hundreds of billboards of various sizes and hanging thousands of flags and banners for propaganda purposes along roads throughout the province. The workers regularly carry out inspection and maintenance work, ensuring that the landscape is always neat and clean. Many miniature landscapes are elaborately decorated and brightly colored, creating eye-catching focal points to attract tourists. The highlight of the spring flower street is the striking pair of golden horses, symbolizing the new year and aspirations for progress, and also becoming a favorite photo spot for many people. Several lighting projects are being urgently completed by staff of Lang Son Power Company. The spring flower street also features an exhibition of beautiful peach blossom trees from Lang Son, with over 70 carefully selected trees, contributing to a vibrant spring atmosphere rich in the cultural identity of the border region. As night falls, the spring flower street glows brightly, shimmering with countless colorful lights, creating a magical atmosphere that captivates visitors.
