At exactly 9:30 PM, high-altitude fireworks were launched at the Saigon riverside park, attracting a large crowd of locals and tourists.

The moment fireworks burst into bloom over the rooftop of Landmark 81 building in Binh Thanh District and Ba Son Bridge (connecting District 1 and Thu Duc City).

People cheered and shouted with excitement as fireworks exploded in the sky.

28-year-old Vu Thuy Trang happily took selfies with the fireworks celebrating the 50th anniversary of national reunification. "The fireworks were beautiful and the timing was perfect for everyone to enjoy," Trang said.

The fireworks illuminated the sky, reflecting their image onto the lake near the Tran Hung Dao monument in Me Linh Square.

Ms. Thuy Tran (second from the right) from Phu Nhuan district and her group of friends wore outfits with the red flag and yellow star emblem to watch the fireworks.
