To celebrate summer and International Children's Day on June 1st, Kim Dong Publishing House introduces many new books in a wide variety of genres for young readers.

One of the areas that Kim Dong Publishing House focuses on investing in is Vietnamese literature, including works by domestic authors.
Nine Vietnamese literary works are being introduced this summer, including: “Seagull Searching for Father” (Nguyen Thu Hang), “Net Na and Cu Nhay” (Yen Khuong), “The Adventures of the Green Cloud Crab” (Le Duc Duong), “The Obedient Clouds” (Vu Thi Huyen Trang), “Lost in the Milky Way” (Yen Yen), “The Little Boy Bi Dat” (Bon Dong Huan), “Do You Like Being a Cat?” (D.T. Hoai Thu), and two poetry collections: “Clapping Corn Kernels” (Nguyen Thanh Nga), “The Cricket on a Moonlit Night” (Mai Quyen). These are also the works that participated in the First Kim Dong Literary Award (2023-2025).
Picture books for preschool and young children stand out in the "Nurturing the Soul" series: "Pretty Pillow Bread" and "Mina the Rabbit's Bakery" by authors May and Huynh Ly, illustrated by artist Thu Cao, taking young readers into lush green nature and a colorful world of sweets.

The "Interesting Stories of Vietnamese History" series, comprising 10 volumes, takes readers back in time, with heroic events, stories about figures recorded in official history, and legends and anecdotes passed down through folklore.

"Vietnamese Art," with its parallel editions in Vietnamese and English, features vivid illustrations, detailed narratives, and cultural insights, helping young readers explore various Vietnamese art forms such as painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, and architecture.

Also in the field of art and culture books, Kim Dong Publishing House has released the first three books in the series "Renowned Traditional Crafts," including: "Dong Xam Silver Carving - Preserving the Quintessence," "Chang Son Woodworking Village - The Carvings of Time," and "Phu Quoc Fish Sauce - The Delicious Taste of the Pearl Island."
Furthermore, the theme of contemporary figures is also one of the topics that Kim Dong Publishing House is interested in and brings to readers. "Zoey and Xá Xị" is a nine-volume fantasy adventure series by American author Asia Citro and illustrator Marion Lindsay, each volume a separate adventure celebrating courage, kindness, and friendship.

"Nobita and the Earth Symphony" is the first Doraemon novel to be paired with a movie that is predicted to be a summer blockbuster.
