Along with the popular Fold and Flip models that have been popular for many years, Samsung is preparing to launch another product with an impressive tri-fold design.

A new Samsung smartphone with model number SM-F9680 has just appeared on a mobile device certification website in China. Sources suggest this is a new tri-folding phone, soon to be part of Samsung's foldable smartphone lineup.

Unlike the vertical or horizontal folding mechanism of the Fold and Flip, the new device allows for a significantly larger screen when fully opened. This design also offers greater usability and more screen space, similar to a tablet.

Despite the appealing concept, the device's specifications might be somewhat disappointing. While categorized as a 5G mobile device, the wired charger only has a power output of 25W. This is the EP-TA800 charger, which is included with many current Samsung smartphones.

According to Gizchina , phones with three displays and complex hardware requirements will need more battery power, and 25W charging may not be sufficient. Those expecting faster charging speeds will be disappointed.

Nevertheless, the development of a triple-folding smartphone proves that Samsung remains a leader in the foldable smartphone market. This phone could offer a new experience, especially for those who multitask or watch a lot of content.
