Ready for the 2025 Tourism Year

- The Tuyen Quang Tourism Year 2025 was inaugurated on April 25th with many attractive activities aimed at promoting and stimulating tourism. With time running out, the Provincial People's Committee is directing and implementing the plan to relevant localities and units, ensuring that the series of events of the tourism year takes place as planned.

Highlights of Tan Trao

This year, the province has chosen Flamingo Tan Trao as the venue for the opening ceremony of the Tuyen Quang Tourism Year. Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoan, Deputy General Director of Flamingo Group, affirmed: “The Group is coordinating and implementing many of the best solutions to ensure the opening ceremony of the Tuyen Quang Tourism Year 2025 is successful and attractive. Exactly one year ago, the Group held the inauguration ceremony for the Tan Trao Destination Centre. This is an important project of the 5-star Flamingo Heritage Tan Trao Heritage City Project, demonstrating our capacity to organize large-scale events. Activities and events at the center are oriented towards honoring the cultural identity of Tuyen Quang in particular and neighboring provinces in the region in general. From this vision, Flamingo Holdings focuses on creating a journey of experiencing local culture, aiming to create excitement for discovery for tourists of all ages.”

Flamingo Tan Trao has been selected as the venue for the opening ceremony of the Tuyen Quang Province Tourism Year 2025.

According to Mr. Hoan, in October 2022, the Group began construction of the Tan Trao National Historical and Cultural Tourism Village Project, covering nearly 25 hectares with a total investment of 663 billion VND, including shophouses and homestays. The Flamingo Tan Trao project, once completed and operational, is expected to have approximately 2,000 rooms, attracting tourists to Tuyen Quang year-round. To date, the main components of the project have been largely completed. During the opening ceremony of the Tuyen Quang Tourism Year 2025, the Group plans to inaugurate the Flamingo Heritage Onsen & Resort Hotel, along with many other exciting experiential activities.

During the tourism year in Tan Trao commune, many activities were organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; the Provincial Tourism Management Board; and Son Duong district, including paragliding over the heritage area. Mr. Do Trung Kien, Head of the Provincial Tourism Management Board, said: "Tourism to the roots in Tan Trao is an important highlight. Recently, the Management Board has proactively developed many new tourism products to diversify services and attract tourists, such as: rafting and listening to Then singing on Na Nua Lake, participating in the 'Heritage Route in the Great Forest' tour, visiting the heritage banyan tree, heritage fig tree, primary bamboo forest, and primary tau forest in the Hong Mountain area. Tourists can also enjoy herbal baths, experience the traditional wedding of the Tay ethnic group, participate in rice field fishing competitions using traditional traps, enjoy local cuisine, and check in at Vinh Tan tea hill." All the events, products, and tourism services blend tradition and modernity, old and new, especially at this time when the whole country and the province are focusing on celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Tan Trao National Congress, the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution, and National Day on September 2nd, which is truly meaningful.

Many activities in response

The Tuyen Quang Tourism Year 2025 in Tuyen Quang city will feature activities such as a DJ music performance night, paragliding at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, and the Tuyen Quang Trade and Tourism Connection Conference 2025, with approximately 100 tourism delegates from within and outside the province.

The Provincial Investment Promotion Center has been assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to organize the exhibition and introduction of Tuyen Quang's tourism products and traditional crafts in 2025, taking place from April 24th to April 30th, 2025, on Chien Thang Song Lo Street, Tan Quang Ward and Nguyen Van Cu Street, Minh Xuan Ward (Tuyen Quang City). According to the Center, the exhibition will feature over 100 booths showcasing tourism products and traditional crafts from Tuyen Quang province and other provinces and cities nationwide. Participating in this event will be businesses and units from all economic sectors, as well as Vietnamese investment promotion, trade promotion, and tourism promotion organizations; the People's Committees of districts and cities in the province; and associations, industries, and traditional craft villages from within and outside the province. Many tourism and traditional craft businesses from within and outside the province have expressed their eagerness to come to Tuyen Quang City to participate in the activities of the Tuyen Quang Tourism Year 2025.

In Na Hang district, the Provincial Tourism Management Board, in coordination with the People's Committees of Na Hang and Lam Binh districts and relevant units, organized the announcement and launch of the "Discovery Journey" tourism product at the Na Hang - Lam Binh Eco-tourism Area. The "Discovery Journey" tour route, encompassing Co Yeng - Ban Bung - Thanh Tuong, included visits to the thousand-year-old cypress tree complex, a check-in at the Vietnamese Heritage Cypress Tree, a visit to the ancient tea forest, the mysterious red rock stream, exploration of Bo Kim cave, agricultural tourism experiences, and unique culinary experiences of the Red Dao people.

Chiêm Hóa District will host the Tuyên Quang Province Women's Ethnic Football Tournament from April 11th to 15th, 2025. The tournament promises many beautiful, exciting, intense, and dramatic plays. Additionally, Tuyên Quang City will also host the Tuyên Quang Province Club Tennis Tournament from April 24th to 27th, 2025.

To welcome the Tuyen Quang Tourism Year 2025, all districts and cities in the province are organizing tourism, cultural, and artistic activities to create an atmosphere of excitement and vibrancy, linking the series of events and creating a diverse, attractive, and distinctive tourism landscape for Tuyen Quang.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department is responsible for advising the Provincial People's Committee on the content and conditions for organizing the opening ceremony of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Tourism Year 2025. The Department has actively urged units to implement the activities to ensure quality and effectiveness. At the same time, it has selected and coordinated with event units to develop the script and organize the artistic program; designed the mock-up, decorated the stage, and ensured sound and lighting for the opening ceremony to be of the highest quality.
