For the 2025-2026 winter-spring crop season, the Agricultural Extension Center will implement rice production models covering a total area of ​​562 hectares, located in cooperatives throughout the city. Among these, the Phu Gia Agricultural Cooperative will implement the model "Applying advanced techniques: three reductions and three increases; water management; and straw management to produce rice with low emissions." This is a cultivation process applying advanced techniques, such as alternating dry and wet irrigation, reducing seeds/fertilizers, aiming to minimize greenhouse gas emissions, while simultaneously reducing costs, increasing profits, and improving rice quality, on a scale of 20 hectares.
