The investor stated that the bidding process and selection of the contractor for the Cho Moi - Bac Kan road project are expected to take place in early December.
Updating the progress of the Cho Moi - Bac Kan road construction investment project, a representative of Project Management Board 2 (the investor) stated that the design consultant has completed the technical design documents, and Project Management Board 2 has organized the appraisal, approval, and issuance of the E-Tender documents for the construction package on the national bidding network system since November 7th.

The bidding process is expected to take place on December 5th to select a qualified contractor.
"Unless unforeseen circumstances arise, the project is expected to commence in December this year, as requested by the leaders of the Ministry of Transport ," a representative from Project Management Board 2 informed.
According to this source, to facilitate the project's construction, Project Management Board 2 has simultaneously implemented tasks related to design, approval, and land clearance demarcation to hand over to the local authorities in three phases, covering a length of nearly 9.2km out of a total of nearly 29km.
According to the approved plan, the Cho Moi - Bac Kan expressway, approximately 29km long, will be built to the scale of a Class 80 expressway, with a design speed of 80km/h, 4 lanes, and a roadbed width of 22m.
The extended section of the route is approximately 0.4km long, and is being developed with 2 lanes and a roadbed width of 12m.
Access roads, cross roads, and replacement roads will be constructed in accordance with the existing or planned road classification (if any), ensuring a minimum scale of rural road class B with a roadbed width of 5m and a road surface width of 3.5m.
The total approved investment for the project is over 5,750 billion VND, using public investment capital.
