Which consortium won the bid to construct the Cho Moi project?

The investor has just approved the results of selecting a contractor to construct the Cho Moi - Bac Kan route with a winning bid value of nearly 4,800 billion VND.

Project Management Board 2 ( Ministry of Construction ) has just approved the results of selecting a contractor to implement the construction package (including survey and construction drawing design) of the Cho Moi - Bac Kan route construction investment project.

The winning consortium includes: Phuong Thanh Transport Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company - Deo Ca Construction Joint Stock Company - Truong Son Construction Corporation - Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company. Winning bid price is nearly 4,800 billion VND.

This is the only construction package of the project selected through open bidding.

In which, the construction and installation part applies adjusted unit price, the survey part follows fixed unit price, and the construction drawing design part follows a package form.

The contract implementation period is 24 months. The contract is expected to start in the first quarter of 2025.

The Cho Moi - Bac Kan route construction investment project was approved by the Ministry of Transport at the end of May 2024 with the goal of strengthening connectivity and improving operational capacity, meeting transportation needs on the corridor from Bac Kan to localities in the key economic region of the North.

The route starts at the Thai Nguyen - Cho Moi Expressway in Cho Moi District (Bac Kan). The end point connects to the Bac Kan - Cao Bang Expressway in Bac Kan City.

In the first phase, the project will invest in the route connecting from the end point to National Highway 3B and connecting with the Bac Kan - Ba Be Lake route, with a total length of nearly 29km. Of which, the main expressway is more than 28km long, the connecting section is 0.4km long.

The project is built according to the standards of a class 80 highway, with a design speed of 80km/h. The highway has 4 lanes and a 22m wide roadbed. The connecting route has a 12m wide roadbed.
