Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Loan chaired the meeting. |
At the meeting, leaders of the two communes reported specifically on housing support progress. Thanh Thinh commune has 60 households eligible for housing support under different programs.
As of July 18, 59 houses have been started, of which 41 have been completed, reaching 67.2%. For Thanh Mai commune, the total number of temporary and dilapidated houses approved is 144, to date 54/137 houses have been accepted and disbursed, of which 18 have been completed, 73 are under construction, and 10 have not yet started. The cases arising (26 households) are continuing to be reviewed and the list is being supplemented.
Compensation and site clearance for the Cho Moi - Bac Kan route are still facing some difficulties. Thanh Thinh commune still has 151 households that have not received compensation, totaling nearly 94.5 billion VND. The main problems are due to land overlapping with other projects or households not agreeing on the unit price and requesting additional support.
In particular, 52 households whose land overlapped with three other projects were determined to be ineligible for compensation; the Commune People's Committee has notified the households to clean up their property themselves, otherwise, enforcement will be carried out according to regulations.
Thanh Mai Commune still has 42 households that have not received compensation with a total amount of 13 billion VND, due to issues related to the forest planting contract with Bac Kan Forestry One Member Co., Ltd.
Relevant units are urgently completing documents and plans for approval, expected to be completed in July 2025.
In Bac Kan Ward, there are still 35 households that have not received money, mainly due to disagreement on the compensation price; of which 15 households grow perennial crops on rice land, and 20 households have structures that need to be relocated.
