Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Quach Tat Liem inspected the progress of the regional linking road project.

On December 4, comrade Quach Tat Liem - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the construction progress and compensation and resettlement support work of the Hoa Binh - Hanoi Regional Linking Road Project and Son La Expressway (Hoa Binh - Moc Chau) in Hoa Binh area.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Quach Tat Liem listened to the progress report of the regional linking road project through Kim Boi commune.

At the destinations, the delegation listened to the Hoa Binh Regional Project Management Board report on the implementation status, the volume of work done and the difficulties and obstacles in site clearance. This is a group A project, a level II road traffic project; the route has a total length of 49.02km, of which the design length is 46.91km. The project has a total investment of 4,120 billion VND, including 2,500 billion VND from the central budget and 1,620 billion VND from the provincial budget for the period 2021-2025.

Currently, the construction value has reached 509.28 billion VND, equivalent to 30.56% of the contract value; 11 construction sites are being deployed along the entire route. It is expected that by December 2025, the project will basically complete the concrete asphalt pavement. The work of relocating technical infrastructure continues to be accelerated.

The total capital allocated for the project is 2,303 billion VND, the total disbursement is 1,402 billion VND, equivalent to 60.87%. In 2025 alone, 166/1,056 billion VND was disbursed, reaching 15.6%. Due to the impact of the merger of two-level authorities, which slowed down the site clearance work, the investor proposed to adjust 131.5 billion VND of capital in 2025 to the 2026-2030 period; after the adjustment, the capital plan for 2025 is 925.1 billion VND, striving to disburse 100%.

Speaking at the inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Quach Tat Liem emphasized: These are key traffic projects, of special importance to the socio -economic development of the province; units need to uphold their responsibility and determination to complete them on schedule. He requested investors and contractors to concentrate maximum human resources and equipment, organize simultaneous construction, accelerate in the dry season; strictly follow technical procedures, ensure quality and labor safety.

For localities, he suggested speeding up site clearance and thoroughly handling problems at remaining technical infrastructure locations. He also requested speeding up disbursement and close coordination between departments, branches and localities to ensure progress as committed.
